Just a few minutes from Princeville is the town of Kilauea, and the national park that is home to the historic Kilauea Lighthouse. This is an amazing spot for bird-watching (red-footed boobies, nene geese, albatross, and more), for whale watching... and check out the Fresnel lens in the lighthouse itself.
